    This paper was published in 1992 & provides a case study covering the period from June 1987 to December 1990, when two programs for the distribution of sterile needles & syringes (N&S) were established & expanded throughout WA - through retail pharmacies of preventive materials in conjunction with a pack of 5 syringes in a disposable container & through peer based needle & syringe exchange programs.

Statistical Bulletins: TFDA, WADASO & DAO

Between 1996 & 2008 a series of short reports, styled as Statistical Bulletins, which presented data in relation to a specific indicator of drug abuse, were published in WA. These publications were first produced by the Task Force on Drug Abuse (TFDA) from May 1996 to June 1997, continued by the WA Drug Abuse Strategy Office (WADASO) from July 1997 to June 2001 & then assumed by the Drug & Alcohol Office (DAO) after it took over functions of WADASO, from July 2001 to May 2008.
